this is intended to be an organic, character-driven, smut friendly gpsl. we encourage friendships and relationships to develop naturally through interaction.
we recognize that some writers may be joining from 57th, and may already have existing connections. we are not asking anyone to erase prior development but we do prefer that friendships and flirtations carrying over are treated as newly formed. the only exceptions are roommates and one family line, which may be pre-planned.
we ask for one substantial update per month. this can include writing, moodboards, playlists, or similar creative content. "substantial" means the post should reflect clear effort. a post with four pictures and a quote, or an update with three links to songs only will not count as your activity for the month.
in addition to monthly updates, we expect ongoing participation on the friends page. while there is no strict comment requirement, regular engagement is expected. we may reach out if a character appears consistently inactive or disconnected.

only pbs with verifiable public credits (actors, musicians, professional athletes and models) will be accepted. if you have questions about a pb, please reach out in the drop box.
returning players removed for inactivity must update their journal before reapplying.
for the first round of adds, we will host a mod run ffa in place of traditional introductions.
after this initial round, new members will be asked to show participation by engaging on the friends page. we ask that members must submit links to five separate comments they have initiated on other posts. these can include replies to updates, participation in ffas, or interactions on friends only posts.
this system is intended to encourage organic interaction and natural integration into the community. we are open to feedback and may adjust this if needed!
hiatuses are allowed and are intended for temporary breaks rather than long-term inactivity. hiatus requests should be submitted with a general timeframe. they are typically granted for up to two weeks at a time, with extensions considered if communicated in advance.
while on hiatus, characters are exempt from activity expectations. any ic activity will be considered a return from hiatus.
frequent or repeated use of hiatus may be addressed if it impacts overall participation.
this gpsl is app-free. please, no discord, wire, mafia, hyperbeam or anything else of the sort. we're looking for an active friend page and would like to see the interaction take place there.
we will be hosting periodic ffas, update prompts, and other community events on a regular basis. participation is optional but highly encouraged.
this is meant to be a relaxed, inclusive space. be respectful of other players and mindful of boundaries, both ic and ooc.
if you have an issue with another player, please contact the mods directly. we may request examples or screenshots for context. anonymous comments or links to anonymous journals will not be considered on their own.
we're all adults here, we are not here to micromanage, but we will step in if behavior becomes disruptive or negatively impacts the community.
